 Son Palou is located on the edge of Orient, an old little village that consists on 25 rustic houses in the foothills of Sierra Tramuntana.
There are a lot of activities available in this area:
Hiking to Son Palou's waterfall or to the hilltop ruins. Hotel Finca Son Palou has a list of walking excursions in English starting from the hotel.
Mountain Biking (bicycles available at no cost) or horse riding (by arrangement) in the surrounding countryside.
Boat trips can also be arranged by the hotel
Guests can visit the ruins of the Moorish Castell De Alaro, a 10 minute drive
Golfing: there are excellent golf courses. The nearest are Son Termens with 18 holes, at about 8km away.
Scenic Drives: the stretch of road from Bunola to orient is quiet and very beautiful.
Palma de Mallorca is located at a 20 minute drive.
